A Sit- in-Protest against the recent killing of labourers in Manipur

A Sit-in-Protest against the recent killing of labourers in Manipur on 17th, 18th and 19th March, 2008 was organized under the initiative of Manipur Students' Association Delhi (MSAD) on 21st March 2008 at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

The protest was participated by several Manipuri students and representatives of various organizations. All the participating organization expressed their condemnation against the recent killing spree in Manipur and unanimously issued a joint statement of condemnation.

The participating organizations included Lok Raj Sangathan, MSAD, Communist Ghadar Party of India, Hind Naujawan Ekta Sabha, MASS and Purogami Mahila Sangathan, Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union, All India Students' Association, CPI (ML), AISA, JNU Unit, and Janata Dal (United).
