PROTEST MARCH

March starts at 4 pm from August Kranti Maidan (near Grant Rd. Stn.) to Jhula Maidan (Madanpura near Bombay Central Stn.)

Join the march to :

• Demand an immediate end to the US led occupation of Iraq
• Demand that the US and its allies be held accountable and prosecuted for the illegitimate war and human rights violations.
• To demand prosecution and deterrent punishment of torture rape, and sexual assaults under War Crimes.
• Condemn the use of torture by occupying powers and dictatorial regimes against the people of Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan who are asserting their democratic right of protest
• Support the struggle for a sovereign, Independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital as well as the Right of Return of the Refugees.
• Demand the immediate end to the Israeli Occupation and call for the dismantlement of the Settlements and the Apartheid Wall.
• Support the Intifada - the Palestinian Resistance against the racist apartheid state of Israel!
• Call upon the international community and governments to impose political, economic, military and cultural sanctions on Israel for its non-compliance of UN resolutions and disdain for international law.
• Demand the abolition of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction such as chemical and biological weapons.
• Call for the restructuring and democratization of the United Nations which has ceased to fulfill its original purpose
• Reject the claim of the US and its allies that they are bringing democracy through elections to people living under occupation
